Description
The Sol is the official currency of [Portofiro](/wiki/locations/portofiro). Symbol: ☉ (the sun glyph).
The key player-fact: the Sol has crashed. Per [Hershel](/wiki/characters/hershel-wilk), the assignment stipend [Constanz](/wiki/characters/constanz-the-photo-lady) hands out — ☉ 20 — isn't enough to buy a belt. That sets the baseline for everything you'll pay for in Quisach.
You start with **☉ 6**. The stipend brings you to **☉ 26**. From that pool you're paying:
- **Vending machines** — [Wiśnia Hard Candy](/wiki/items/wisnia-hard-candy) ☉ 2, [Rumba!](/wiki/items/rumba-canned-coffee) ☉ 5, [Jefa](/wiki/items/jefa-red-black-blend) ☉ 7 - **[Carmuna Pessoa](/wiki/characters/carmuna-pessoa)** — pants/coats/skirts/boots ☉ 11 to ☉ 55 - **[Malen](/wiki/characters/malen)** — costumes ☉ 5 to ☉ 9 - **Renotel payphones** — ☉ 2 per call - **[Pigeon / Slava / Loud João](/wiki/characters/pigeon)** — ☉ 10 buys a round, unlocks piloting-days stories - **[Bazaar GM](/wiki/characters/bazaar-gm)** — ☉ 10 inducement for information on Tempo del Sur's whereabouts (he doesn't know; he points you to Carmuna)
If you spend the Bazaar GM bribe AND buy the round AND a single Carmuna purchase, you're already most of the way through your stipend. Sol is meant to feel tight.
Acquisition
Hershel starts with ☉ 6. [Constanz, the Photo Lady](/wiki/characters/constanz-the-photo-lady) dispenses ☉ 20 as an official assignment stipend.
