One of six collectible cups tied to the in-universe cartoon Sixty-Six Wolves — Luzian-origin, officially blocked by EMTERR, unofficially everywhere in Quisach.

The Stubborn Wolf is one of the 59 wolves the Sword-Wielding Child can name from memory. Going by the name, the Stubborn Wolf is the one that doesn't yield — the wolf Nabia calls on when the right move is to refuse to move at all.

For CASCADE, this is an embarrassingly apt object. She's been recalled, told to come home, told the operation is dead. She's in Portofiro anyway. *Stubborn* is what she is — the operant who won't leave when the Bureau says go. There's a quiet pleasure in carrying this cup specifically while ignoring Melita's recall order.

The Collect Them All framing — *nobody is saying that collecting them will make you a happy or fulfilled person, but nobody's saying they won't* — applies hardest here. Stubbornness without a goal isn't a virtue. Stubbornness in service of a cancelled operation is, depending on the read, either professional integrity or insubordination. The cup doesn't take a side.
