Tyrant Wolf's Flaming Claymore
Tyrant Wolf's Flaming Claymore is a held-item toy from the Sixty-Six Wolves merchandise line — a kid's plastic sword styled after the Tyrant Wolf's signature weapon. The Sword-Wielding Child in the Bootleg Bazaar carries it because the Tyrant Wolf is his favourite. CASCADE can persuade him to hand it over. Effects: Statehood +1, Instincts +1, Nerve +1. That's the funniest stat stack in the game — a toy sword that makes you measurably more authoritative, more reactive, and harder to read.

Description
A toy plastic sword tied to the in-universe cartoon Sixty-Six Wolves, modelled on the Tyrant Wolf's signature weapon. The sword is a kid's toy. The buffs it provides are not.
While held: **Statehood +1, Instincts +1, Nerve +1**. That's structurally the best held-item buff set documented at launch. Three skills, two faculties (Action + Relation), all load-bearing in different builds.
The joke is the read. The inventory has decent operant gear — Bureau-issue clothing, the Operant Toolkit, formal cover wear, Suprema 100s for Delirium, Rumba! Canned Coffee for Fatigue. And then there's a kid's plastic sword in the held-item slot that quietly outperforms all of it in raw skill terms.
It's also a comment on what the Tyrant Wolf does for CASCADE. Carrying it is reading herself, mid-mission, against the Tyrant Wolf's role: the dominating one, the one who takes. The buffs land on the skills that match that read — Statehood, Instincts, Nerve. The cup's plastic. The skills aren't.
The Claymore competes with the Operant Toolkit for the held-item slot. Swap between them based on the scene.
Acquisition
The [Sword-Wielding Child](/wiki/characters/sword-wielding-child) in the Bootleg Bazaar in [Quisach](/wiki/locations/quisach) can be persuaded to give it. Personalism and Cold Read pay off in that conversation; Statehood and Nerve also help if you push harder. The Child is an avid Sixty-Six Wolves fan and the Claymore is his most prized item.
Usage
Keep it equipped — the Statehood +1 / Instincts +1 / Nerve +1 buff stack is the strongest held-item buff set documented on the launch wiki. The Claymore competes with the Operant Toolkit for the held-item slot, so swap between them based on whether the scene leans social/physical (Claymore) or technical/tradecraft (Toolkit).
Builds & playstyles
**Default carry:** keep the Claymore equipped for social and physical scenes — the three +1s fire constantly.
**Swap to Toolkit:** for tradecraft, lockpicking, technical work, and Technoflex checks.
**Hard-line Charismatic build:** Statehood + Nerve buffs make this the cheapest path to maxed authority. Pair with Personalism for the full social kit.
